Our History

1971

Gary Vasseur began his career in commercial real estate at Ferree & Searcy Inc. gaining foundational experience in the industry that would shape his long and successful career.

1983

Bill Ellis, alongside Vic Tinsley, found Ellis & Tinsley, Inc., establishing a respected firm specializing in commercial real estate and development.

2005

J. Searcy and Gary Vasseur form Coldwell Banker Commercial, Searcy Vasseur Group, where Gary plays a pivotal role in leading the firm’s commercial real estate ventures and strategic growth.

2006

C.B. Team joins Ellis and Tinsley, Inc. as an associate.

2008

Nathan Vasseur joins Coldwell Banker Commercial, Searcy Vasseur Group, as an associate.

2013

C.B. Team acquires his Texas real estate brokers license and is named Partner and Principal at Ellis & Tinsley, bringing industry knowledge and strong leadership in an effort to continue the firm’s growth in the commercial real estate market.

2015

Gary Vasseur founds Vasseur Commercial Real Estate alongside his son, Nathan, combining decades of industry expertise with a fresh, strategic vision for the future of commercial real estate.

2016

C.B. Team becomes a licensed real estate broker in the state of Colorado.

Ellis and Tinsley Commercial Management is established.

2018

Nathan Vasseur is named Partner and Principal at Vasseur Commercial.

2025

Team & Vasseur begin joint operations, marking a new chapter in their collaboration, and completing their merger by moving into their new building off of West Vickery, solidifying their presence in the Fort Worth commercial real estate market for decades to come.
